EMLinQ installs a Humidity Control System to reduce dust and help eliminate static discharge

Simi Valley- EMLinQ LLC has installed a state of the art Humidity Control System in its 24,000 square foot facility to maintain relative humidity, suppress dust, and reduce static discharge. Controlling humidity in a manufacturing environment is critical, and allows EMLinQ to print solder paste on circuit boards without the risk of dust and static contamination. High pressure filtered mist comes out of the specially made ceramic insert nozzles that reduce water droplets to 5 microns in size. These droplets spray at 1000 psi, and are blown towards the work area, creating what is called “heavy saturated air.” This air is distributed by several fans and is monitored by a sensitive digital control system that turns off and on to maintain the desired set point RH%. Dust and static charge can not be supported in this “heavy saturated air,” which protects your circuit boards from contamination. Unlike a swamp cooler type method, our two stage filtration system has no standing tank water available for bacteria, mold or mildew issues.


Our modified Articmist Industrial High Pressure (1000 PSI) Humidification System was installed by Air and Water Systems LLC. The complete system is manufactured in the USA and carries a 3 year warranty. Please visit for any additional information about humidity control.
